This page explains what happens to the email address you give us when you join the OTRBuddy launch waitlist. It covers the waitlist only. When the OTRBuddy app itself launches, it will have its own, fuller privacy policy.
When you submit the waitlist form we store:
That is all. We do not ask for your name, your location, your orientation, your employer, or anything about your truck.
One reason only: to email you when OTRBuddy opens to drivers. We may send a small number of progress updates before launch.
Nobody. We do not sell, rent, trade or share your email address. It is not passed to advertisers or data brokers.
Until OTRBuddy launches and you have been invited, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first.
Email support@otrbuddyapp.com and ask to be removed. We will delete your address and confirm it. You do not have to give a reason. Every marketing email we send will also carry an unsubscribe link.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it erased. Email the address above and we will action it.
OTRBuddy is built for drivers who are not necessarily out, and we take that seriously. Joining the waitlist tells us nothing about you beyond an email address. Nothing you do here is visible to anyone else, and we will never put anything in an email subject line that reveals what OTRBuddy is.
OTRBuddy is for adults aged 18 and over. Please do not join the waitlist if you are under 18.
